Why Texas is the Greatest US State

1. Texas has no state income tax.

2. Texas has no state income tax (it's worth mentioning twice).

3. Texas has a Republican state government.

4. Texas is lax with energy conservation, yet still has more than enough power, unlike a certain state which shall remain nameless.

5. George W. Bush was governor of Texas, which, quite frankly, speaks for itself.

6. In Texas, if you kill somebody, we do not think it is barbaric to consider your life forfeit, rather, we consider it just.

7. Texas has no state income tax (ok, so that's more than redundant - I just want to drive this home).

8. In Texas, combined state and federal gasoline taxes are actually BELOW fifty cents per gallon, unlike the aforementioned state, which shall still remain nameless (I swear!).

9. In Texas, you can enjoy a comfortable standard of living if you earn it, not if you can leech it.

10. Texas isn't California (ok, ok, so I lied).
